A Pattern word count: 2,000+
“I see you’re still wearing my sweater.” Brett’s voice and heartbeat are level, but Liam can definitely hear something wrong there.

“Yeah sorry I- it was cold and I didn’t get a chance to uh… no but yeah, here,” Liam stutters.
He tugs at it, about to take it off, when Brett says, “No. It’s fine, I have other sweaters I can wear. It’s definitely cold tonight.” He runs his hands up and down his arms for emphasis.

It’s seventy degrees out.
Neither one of them is cold.
The one where Brett indirectly scent marks Liam, and Liam can't figure out why.

◆ hope is the thing with feathers magic au, word count: 90,000+
Stiles is ten when he saves the Hales from their burning home and Derek from a wolfsbane bullet, and this establishes a pattern that seem to continue indefinitely.
"Then he's facing a burning home, and he wraps the hood of his sweatshirt around his mouth before he pushes the door open and steps inside. There's Mr. Hale asleep - he hopes asleep - on the couch, next to - Stiles thinks that's his brother but there are so many Hales, who can keep track. He rushes over and starts shaking him, can see the rise and fall of the man's chest so he knows he's alive, but he's not waking up.
He shoves away his hood so he can shout, "Mr. Hale! You have to get up, there's a fire! Mr. Hale, get up!" Nothing, he's not even twitching, both of them taking in deep even breaths like they're having the most peaceful of rests, and Stiles is going to cry. "Wake up, wake up, wake up!"
There's a moment, where all Stiles can hear is the blood rushing in his ears and not the roar of the flames or the creak of wood, then with a violent, silent pop it's all back and both of the men are gasping awake, eyes open and jumping to their feet. "
◆ Playing Different Tunes soul bond au, word count: 20,000+
Derek was doing his best to ignore the human in the back corner of the Tetra Luna, his coffee house, but his wolf was interested and wasn’t taking no for an answer.
◆ Night Owls Early Birds witches au, magic au, blood magic au, soul bond au, word count: 40,000+
Confession: Stiles is afraid of having magic.
The Spark had been cool. It had been small, manageable. He could do some funky stuff with Mountain Ash, all with the power of belief.
And now here he is, his Spark blown wide open, apparently coming down with a fatal case of magical overload, and all that stands between him and bleeding out is a grumpy owl that looks suspiciously like a feathered version of Derek Hale.
(In which Stiles learns he's a witch, but instead of a wand and a trip to Diagon Alley, he gets blood magic, a grumpy and reluctant owl as his companion, and an accidental blood bond with Derek Hale.)
◆ Control? mates au, angels au,  word count: 40,000+
The one where everyone is a supernatural creature, and they're all in high school. Stiles has been having control issues, he's being bullied and he's trying to keep his crush on Derek secret.
◆ The Forest Inside pack dynamics au, magic au, magical tattoos au, soul bond au, word count: 1,000+
When you are handling the stress of magic and your werewolf best friends conquest for love, it's hard to comprehend the dangers that surround your own town when the worse thing to happen to anyone else was a will o' wisp attack. A horrible turn of events leave Scott and Stiles separated without the option of going home and Stiles has to survive the forest and his assailants while finding his friend. His one ally, something that is more myth and legend, the Alpha.
◆ Between Dogs and Wolves mafia au, word count: 20,000+
"This is…not four million in cash,” remarks Stilinski.
“Isaac. Did you fail to get my money back and decided to pick up a stripper on the road to bribe me? Because let me make this perfectly clear: this would totally work. Well done.”
The mafia!AU where the Hales owe four million to the Stilinskis, Laura rents Derek (but not as a stripper), Stiles gets a new favorite, Derek gets a new boss, a new puppy and a new family.
Sometimes they break people, but mainly, they just snark at each other.
◆ hope you know (i won't let go) derek comes back, mates au, word count: 2,000+
Derek goes in, ready for a fight, ready for the worst, but freezes at the sight of Jackson and Isaac holding a fighting Stiles down as Scott flashes his eyes at him. Allison and Lydia are standing off to the side, concerned expressions on their faces. Time slows down and it takes Derek longer than he’d care to admit to realize a few things.
First, Jackson and Isaac are also back in Beacon Hills. From the looks of it, they’ve been back for a while. And they’re holding Stiles down, struggling to hold him down.
Second, Scott is looming over Stiles, baring his fangs menacingly.
Third, Stiles is…doing the same at Scott.
That’s when his brain resets itself and Derek comes to a thunderous fourth realization. Stiles is a werewolf.
Suddenly, time speeds up again and six pairs of heads swivel in his direction but Derek only stares at Stiles. Stiles who pauses, closes his eyes, takes a deep breath in Derek’s direction. He opens his eyes, electric blue orbs glowing, and growls, “Mate.”
And well - what.
◆ Wolves Come In All Shapes mates au, pack dynamics au, soul bond au, dom/sub au, word count: 3,000+
He didn’t ask how Peter knew about his feelings for Stiles. Peter always knew.
“How bad is it?” he asked instead, eyes closed, praying.
Peter was silent for a beat before murmuring, “It’s…a delicate situation”.
◆ On Anchors and Rudders magic au, sentinels/guides au, pack dynamics au, word count: 10,000+
Stiles might be a sentinel, but Derek is a werewolf. Derek is not and never will be a guide.
There is no way in hell he’ll be a guide. No. Way. In. Hell.
◆ Ssshhh! (or the voice in my head will have to shout) aob dynamics au, mating cycles/in heat au, soul bond au, serial killers au, telepathy au, word count: 20,000+
Things in Beacon Hills are always weird, but Deputy Derek Hale is pretty damn sure he's getting the brunt of this week's insanity. There's a serial killer in town getting their kicks by posing people weirdly and maybe the local coven is to blame. His mom's setting up his sister with his new boss's cute son. There's some guy talking in his head. Oh, and his heat kicks in, four months too early. Also: he's pretty sure cell phones are the worst thing on the planet.
This is Derek Hale's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week. All he wants is to enjoy his new apartment in peace. But you can't always get what you want. And if he tries real hard, will the voice in his head help him get what he needs?
◆ Professor Xavier's a Total Douchebag telepathy au, mutant au, word count: 20,000+
Derek Hale can read minds. If he could have chosen a mutant power for himself instead of being given one by random, genetic happenstance it's safe to say mind-reading would not have been his 1st, 2nd, or even 96th choice.
Maybe if he'd gotten the power of invisibility he wouldn't be sitting in a senior Economics class next to a hyperactive kid with a buzz cut who won’t stop thinking about dicks.
◆ Read My Mind telepathy au, word count: 4,000+
The headphones are enough to drown out the hum of thoughts on the subway. Or at least they usually are. That is until today, when a guy with what Derek swears are the loudest thoughts he has ever heard sits across from him just after Derek takes his seat.
Or, the one in which Derek is a mind-reading werewolf, and Stiles likes to spend his morning commute fantasizing about the ridiculously attractive guy sitting across from him.
◆ Christmas Kisses kid fic, parent au, teacher au, word count: 8,000+
Stiles loves Christmas; he always had and always will. He tries hard to bring Christmas cheer to all the students and their families. There is one student's parent, in particular, who he is trying to impress the most.
Letters to Santa, baking, and mistletoe kisses couldn't prepare Stiles for the Christmas party he knew he'd never forget.
Because Stiles' mom was right: Christmas kisses are a mighty powerful thing.
◆ Brutus kid fic, parent au, word count: 20,000+
After a failed engagement and losing his job, Stiles does what any twenty-seven year old would do: he buys a puppy and moves back in with his dad.
And then stupid Derek had to be there, owning a bookstore and having a kid and looking probably hotter than he used to.
◆ Undercover Heart witness protection program au, parent au, kid fic, word count: 9,000+
Who knew that the government knew about supernatural creatures? Stiles didn't until they stepped in and separated his pack to protect them from the Alpha Pack.
Now, Stiles was stuck in New York City with a lame job, a different name, and no friends. Maybe he'll make some with the neighbors next door. . .
◆ must be a devil between us daemons au, word count: 2,000+
"What? Why would-- Derek, why would your daemon encourage mine to touch you?" Stiles fakes calm well, but his heart gives him away.
"Because Luminera is a deviant." He shrugs. He accepted Luminera's reckless behavior years ago.

◆ You Could Taste Heaven Perfectly daemon au, word count: 6,000+

The thing is, Stiles must have a daemon.
Everyone has a daemon.
Well, except things. Things don’t. But that's what they are. Things. Not human. Monstrous.
So Stiles must have one. It's just that Derek's never seen it.

◆ Set in Stone time travel au, word count: 30,000+
There are some werewolves who get unstuck from their time lines and live out their lives in jumps between their past, present, and future. In the Hale family, it happens to Cora, Derek, and Peter. This is the story of their lives and how they learn to live with what they know.

◆ The Moon's Gonna Follow Me Home word count: 80,000+
Derek doesn’t want to call the window repair guy. He doesn’t want to sweep up the glass. He’ll inevitably miss a few shards and pull them out of the bottom of his bare feet for weeks.
He doesn’t want to try to make this place feel like home when it isn’t.
Derek stayed in Beacon Hills and tried to make it work because he wanted pack, wanted purpose. He gave his best effort and found himself back where he started: alone, with a few begrudging allies. He’s tired, and even though his werewolf body heals quickly, he feels the weary ache down to his center.
He packs his car with the few things he cares about enough to drag them from place to place. He locks the loft and calls a realtor about listing the building he’d bought in a misguided attempt to secure a future.
And then he leaves.

◆ This time reincarnation au, crossover au, word count: 8,000+
When the weird thin dude with the flap ears shows up and tells them all he’s Merlin and they are supposed to be the reincarnated court of Camelot, Stiles thinks Sure, why not?
